29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 10 feet from a stairwell opening while conducting carpentry work on the second level of a new construction residence. On or about 11/16/2016. THE UNITED FL CONSTRUCTION INC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1147466, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 002 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 07/27/2016, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 15133 SR 54, ODESSA, FL 33556.
