29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that exit routes were kept free and unobstructed: The employer is failing to protect employees from fire hazards in that the fire exit was obstructed. This was most recently documented on November 21, 2016 at a worksite located at 406 E. 5th Street, Valentine, NE 69201. 1) The west exit located in the receiving area was obstructed by various materials on Roll-tainers, such as, but not limited to, clothing and cleaning supplies. 2) The east exit located in the receiving area was obstructed by an empty Roll-tainer. Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1184028, Citation number 1, Item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/14/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 63 Prairie Drive, East Prairie, MO 63845.
