29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. (a) Front wall of the building - On or about November 10, 2016 an employee was exposed to a flying object hazard while using a nail gun. (b) Center rafter support used as a scaffold - On or about November 10, 2016 an employee was exposed to a flying object hazard while using a nail gun. AGUSTIN AVILA WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.102(A)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1029881 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, ISSUED ON MARCH 25, 2015 WITH A FINAL ORDER DATE OF MAY 28, 2015 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LOT 78 TOWNSHIP, RIDGELAND, MS 39157.
