29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) 6302 Sissonville Drive: On or about November 1, 2016, and times prior, an employee was tasked with removing awnings measuring, 4ft. wide, 14ft. in length and 6ft. in height., from the side and front of a Go-Mart store, 10ft. 5in. above grade and was not protected from falling to the concrete ground below.
