29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. location: center amenity on or about: 11/3/16 a) Employees were engaged in carpentry work, 11'2" feet above the lower level. The employees were not provided with fall protection. location: center amenity on or about: 12/22/16 b) Employees were installing metal studs, 23 1/2 feet above the lower level. The employees were not provided with fall protection. NOTE: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19. The Extreme Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1076326, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/31/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 23 Westerly Rd. Ossining, NY.
