29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Column 55 area: On or about October 31, 2016 Worker was not utilizing a fall protection system when erecting the formwork. The Magellan Concrete Structure Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1118359, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/7/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 1040 Dean St Brooklyn NY.
