29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a. Location: 45 Highland Ave, Lowell MA On or about October 5, 2016, employees were exposed to falls in excess of 22 feet on a low sloped roof and were not protected from falling to lower levels or the ground. b. Location: 45 Highland Ave, Lowell MA On or about October 5, 2016, employees were exposed to falls in excess of ten feet on a low sloped roof and were not protected from falling to lower levels or the ground. c. Location: 45 Highland Ave, Lowell MA On or about October 5, 2016, employees exposed to falls in excess of 22 feet on a steep roof were not protected from falling to lower levels or the ground. This violation was most recently observed on October 5, 2016 at a jobsite located at 45 Highland Ave, Lowell, MA 01851 where employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than ten feet and 22 feet. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that employees are wearing fall protection at all times when exposed to falls greater than six feet.
