29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. (a) Employees conducting siding and trim installation were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 30 feet. The Morales Siding Carpentry LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 959878, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 8, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1821 Meadow Lane, Waukesha, WI.
