29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section: a. Employees performing re-roofing work from a 7:12 pitch roof are not being protected from 8 feet 3 inches fall hazards by a fall protection system.\: The employer routinely fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on August 2, 2016, when employees were installing shingles on the roof of a one-story residence at 10768 Brown Trout Circle, Orlando, Florida 32825 without fall protection and were exposed to fall hazard of 8 feet 3 inches above the surrounding ground. Jasper Contractors, Inc. previously committed a willful violation of this standard on November 23, 2015, with respect to a workplace at 11895 Swooping Willow Road, Jacksonville, Florida which became a final order on April 21, 2016 (Inspection No. 1107776).
