29 CFR 1910.332(b)(1): Employees were not trained in and familiar with the safety-related work practices required by 1910.331 through 1910.335 that pertained to their respective job assignments: a) Facility The employer did not ensure that general maintenance mechanics were trained in safety-related work practices for electrical work such as, but not limited to, changing ballasts. An employee performing such operations received an electrical shock while working from an A frame ladder. The worker fell approximately 6 ft. to the floor below, striking his head and later died of his injuries. Violation occurred on or about 06/26/16.
