29 CFR 1910.215(b)(5): The angular exposure of grinding wheel periphery and sides for safety guards used on surface grinding machine(s) employing the wheel periphery exceeded 150 degrees: (a) On or about 5/21/2016 - in the Maintenance Area, the positioning of the safety guard on the Harig 618 surface grinder allowed an angular exposure greater than 150-degrees of the grinding wheel periphery and sides. Faurecia Interior Systems, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 954774, citation number 1, item number 3b and was affirmed as a final order on 3/31/2014 with respect to a workplace located at 1401 Industrial Dr., Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
