29 CFR 1926.28(a): Appropriate personal protective equipment was not worn by employee(s) in all operations where there was exposure to hazardous conditions: a) Worksite - The employer does not ensure that appropriate eye protection equipment is used. This violation was most recently observed at 2020 Washington Blvd., Easton, PA on May 25, 2016, when employees engaged in roofing work were using pneumatic nail guns, without utilizing any means of eye protection. The employer's ongoing obligation is to ensure that the necessary eye protection equipment is in use for the duration of the pneumatic tool use. Station Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1106495, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 20, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 9 Wells Drive, Wyngate at Medford, Medford, NJ.
