29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: Production building, Wyman Gordon Company, 244 Worcester Street, North Grafton, Massachusetts, May 20, 2016, Extension cords were used in lieu of permanent wiring. a. Smog hog storage building - the extension cord was plugged in, inside the building and run outside where it was attached to the platform. b. Cold flash area - the extension cord was run behind building structural pieces preventing its removal. c. Marvel Band Saw area Technomark computer - the extension cord was run to provide power to the computer cart and was run in series with another cord. Wyman Gordon Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)91)(iv)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1069465, citation number 1, item number 10a and was affirmed as a final order on December 18, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 244 Worcester Street, North Grafton, Massachusetts.
