29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(i)(A)(1): When an unqualified person was working in an elevated position near overhead lines with voltages to ground rated at 50 kV or below, the location was not such that the person and the longest conductive object he or she could contact were at least 10 feet apart: On or about April 25, 2016, at the above addressed site, an employee was exposed to an electrical shock hazard and was electrocuted when he came into contact with energized overhead power lines carrying 7,620 volts while trimming palm fronds on a palm tree approximately 8 feet away from those power lines. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
