29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: a). On or about April 18, 2016, in the wood shop area, the General (Serial #G24114, Model 550) circular hand fed table saw was operated by three employees without guarding the exposed saw blades. Employees are exposed to the hazard of amputation. The table saw is equipped with a guard. The employer allowed the use of the saw without a guard. b). On or about 7/20/16, in the wood shop area, the General (Serial #G24114, Model 550) circular hand fed table saw was operated by three employees without guarding the exposed saw blades.
