29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: a) Polsihing Room: On or about February 23, 2016, the employer did not ensure that employee(s) who were required to wear tight-fitting, N-95 respirators while performing metal polishing tasks were free of facial hair between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face. b) Paint Room: On or about February 25, 2016, the employer did not ensure that employee(s) who were required to wear tight-fitting, half-mask respirators while performing spray paint tasks were free of facial hair between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face.
