29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: (a) On or about December 4, 2015, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from the hazard of projectiles to the eyes in that neither the employee using a pneumatic nail gun nor the adjacent employee wore safety glasses. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet"). d-7 Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 556240, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 10, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 14049 St. Paul Street, Thornton, Colorado.
