29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: Plant: On, or about, December 2, 2015, the company had not conducted a periodic inspection of the lockout/tagout energy control procedures for the equipment in the plant. Reno Machine Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 314402769, Citation Number 2, Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a Final Order on January 31, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at Newington, Connecticut.
