OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that could cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employee(s) were exposed to tipping and crushing hazards while operating forklifts without restraint systems: (a) Date of Violation: On or about 11-09-2015 and times prior thereto, located at U.S. Postal Service Sandston Distribution Center, 5801 Technology Blvd. Sandston, VA 23150, Condition: Employees operated powered industrial vehicles without the use of a seatbelt. The United States Postal Service was previously cited for the same violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 959863., citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10-15-14, with respect to a workplace located at U.S. Postal Service Capitol Heights, MD. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
