29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: On or about October 27, 2015, throughout the facility where employees were exposed to chemical and fire hazards when rehabilitating heat exchangers without having effective training on the hazards of chemicals they are exposed to during the rehabilitation process. Alfa Laval, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 242695, citation number 2 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 22, 2012, with a final abatement date of May 18, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 321 Foster Avenue, Wood Dale, IL 60191.
