29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about October 6, 2015, sprocket wheels and a chain which were less than seven feet above the ripening bin's platform were not enclosed and exposed employees to amputation and/or caught-in hazards. Wood Fibers Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 109697, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as final order on May 24, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 1050 Washington St. Niagara, WI 54151.
