29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer does not ensure that employees are protected by guardrails, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems while working over 6 feet high. This violation occurred on or about July 4, 2015, and at times prior thereto, where employees were performing residential framing operations without fall protection. The employees working on site were exposed to fall hazards up to approximately 34 feet. Longhorn Contractors was previously cited for a similar violation of this Occupational Safety and Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number: 316301548, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on May 24, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 349 Helen Moore Rd, San Benito, TX 78586. Longhorn Contractors was previously cited for a similar violation of this Occupational Safety and Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number: 999279, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on November 7,2014, with respect to a workplace located at 109 Esplanade, Portland, TX 78374.
