29 CFR 1926.62(m)(2)(i): The employer shall post the following warning signs in each work area where an employees exposureto lead is above the PEL. WARNING LEAD WORK AREA POISON NO SMOKING OR EATING a. On or about September 22, 2011, at the above addressed jobsite, employees conducting sandblasting operations were exposed to lead at 5.7 to 98.7 times the established permissible exposure limit of 50 ug/m3. The employer failed to post warning signs at the site, thereby exposing employees to the hazards associated with lead.
