29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels are not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor are employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer does not protect each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels. This most recently occurred on June 2, 2015, at the above addressed jobsite. Employees are exposed to fall hazards of approximately nineteen (19) feet while constructing the ridge and rafters on a residential property. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
