29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a. Employees performing residential framing work at elevations of six feet or more above the ground are not protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on May 19, 2015, when employees were setting trusses at a residential house located at 6101 Edith Stephens Drive, Panama City, Florida 32405, without fall protections and were exposed to fall hazards of 8.5 feet above lower level. Panama City Framing & Siding, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 943691, citation number 01, item number 002, issued on October 30, 2013, with respect to a workplace at 21109 Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach, FL 32401.
