29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Employees were exposed to a fall hazard when working at a section of the 6th floor edge where there were no guardrails and not other form of fall protection was used. An employee fell while working on a concrete pour at the edge of the 6th floor. Location: 360 Neptune Ave, Brooklyn, N.Y. On or about 4/1/2015 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
