29 CFR 1918.66(a)(6): When the rated load varies with the boom radius, the crane or derrick was not fitted with a boom angle or radius indicator visible to the operator. F/V Alaska Mist, Weather deck, Coastal dock: On about 4 February 2015 and times prior thereto, the Boom angle indicator was unreadable on the Blue Pedestal crane on the forward deck. This condition exposed employees to a struck by hazard.
