29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2): Scaffold platforms and walkways were not at least 18 inches wide. The employer does not ensure that each scaffold platform is at least 18 inches wide. This violation was observed on or about February 2, 2015, at the job site where employees were exposed to a fall hazard when working from a scaffold platform that was not at least 18 inches wide. Gertrudis Rios DBA Rios Bricklaying Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1013471, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 7, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1860 Leela Springs Dr, Conroe TX 77304. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees work from scaffold platforms that are at least 18 inches wide.
