29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. a. The employer does not require the use of any form of head protection during roofing work. This violation was most recently observed at 4455 Winchester Pike, Columbus Ohio, 43232, employees did not wear head protection while working below employees working on the roof. Julio C. Galindo was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 955319, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 3, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 5403-5419 Amity Moor Road, Building #3, Westerville, Ohio, 43081. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance, including a description of how these steps protect its employees from the head hazards.
