Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were required to perform tasks which created an increased risk of developing cumulative trauma disorders and musculoskeletal strain: Hearth Line - eighth of fourteen employees was exposed to undue cumulative trauma and musculoskeletal disorders of the back, neck and upper extremities (including hands, wrist and arms) while lifting pans from conveyor line(s) and placing these pans onto pan racks.
