29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Production Area; On or about August 22, 2023, and at time prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that employees who are required to batch hazardous chemicals, such as but not limited to, Phosphoric Acid, Sulfuric acid Acetic Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, and Hydro sulfuric Acid were trained on the hazards associated with the chemical. b) Laboratory; On or about August 22, 2023, and at time prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that employees who are required to batch hazardous chemicals, such as but not limited to, Phosphoric Acid, Sulfuric acid Acetic Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, and Hydro sulfuric Acid were trained on the hazards associated with the chemical.
