29 CFR 1910.219(e)(3)(i): Vertical belt(s) were not enclosed by guard(s) conform ing to the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o): The employer do es not ensure that employees are protected from contact with unguarded belts. Th e unguarded belt was on a motor powering a wall-mounted ventilation fan. This co ndition exposed employees to a caught-between hazard. This violation was observe d on or about September 20, 2010. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentat ion showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees are not being exposed to unguarded belts.
