29 CFR 1910.146(c)(2): The employer did not inform exposed employees, by posting danger signs or by any other equally effective means, of the existence and loca tion of and the danger posed by the permit spaces: Calumet Lubricants does not i nform exposed employees of the existence, location and dangers posed by permit s paces by posting warning signs at all permit-required confined spaces in the ref inery or use any other effective means to alert employees to the dangers posed b y the permit- required spaces. This violation was documented on September 22, 20 10. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of thi s citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the sta ndard, including the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees are not be ing exposed to the hazards of confined space.ed
