29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): If at any time a powered industrial truck is found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe, the truck shall be taken out of service until it has been restored to safe operating condition. (a) Jobsite - On or about September 18, 2012 two powered industrial truck, Yard Dog number 1 and 2, used to move chicken trailers lacked operable horns or back-up alarms exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by the trucks.
