29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Assigned storage spaces for cylinders were not located away from elevators, stairs, or gangways where cylinders could not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons: a) On or about January 30, 2018, between the maintenance and fabrication shop, an empty compressed gas cylinder of oxygen was not secured, exposing employees to the hazards of being struck by flying pressurized cylinders in the event of damage to the cylinder. b) On or about January 31, 2018, in fabrication shop an empty compressed gas cylinder of argon was not secured, exposing employees to the hazards of being struck by flying pressurized cylinders in the event of damage to the cylinder.
