29 CFR 1926.1126(d)(1): The employer with a workplace or work operation covered by this standard did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI): An exposure determination was not conducted for an employee with the following exposure: a) 9000 River Rd, Delair, NJ, 08110- Anodizing: An employee who welded stainless steel containing hexavalent chromium was exposed to an airborne concentration of hexavalent chromium at an 8 hour time-weighted average of 8.54 ug/m3, which was 1.7 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 5.0 ug/m3. The sampling was conducted for 336 minutes during one shift on 2/24/2017. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of time. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
