29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields: a)9000 River Rd, Delair, NJ- Building 1 Rack Maintenance Area: Employees welding in the rack maintenance area were not using screens to protect employees in the areas adjacent to main roll-up door to the exterior, occurred on or about and at times prior thereto 4/16/15. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
