29 CFR 1910.305(e)(1): The employer did not ensure cabinets, cutout boxes, fittings, boxes, and panel board enclosures in damp or wet locations are installed to prevent moisture or water from entering and accumulating within the enclosures: ALON USA, LP, 200 Refinery Road, Big Spring, TX. The employer does not ensure electrical fixtures are installed to prevent moisture from entering the enclosures. This violation was observed on or about April 15, 2009 in the following instance: Electric panel LPA located in the #1 Sulfur Recovery Unit panel rack was not weatherproofed to prevent moisture or water from entering and accumulating within the enclosure. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that electrical fixtures are installed to prevent moisture from entering the enclosures.
