29 CFR 1910.1052(c)(1): The employer did not ensure that no employee(s) was exposed to an airborne concentration of methylene chloride in excess of twenty-five parts per million as an 8-hour TWA: An employee engaged in spray paint gun cleaning activities on July 8, 2015 was exposed to methylene chloride at an 8-hr time-weighted average level of 64 ppm, approximately 2.6 times the limit of 25 ppm; this limit was established to prevent adverse health effects. The employee used Naked Gun Spray Gun Paint Remover to clean parts of spray paint guns. The exposure level is derived from five samples collected over a 325 minute period, assuming 0 exposure for the remaining 155 minutes.
