29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: On or about September 1, 2023, at 1200 East Pancake Blvd, in Liberal, Kansas, the employer failed to provide hazard communication training. Employees routinely used cleaning chemicals to include, but not limited to sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric, phosphoric acid, 2-butoxy-ethanol, and citric acid which are corrosive and skin and eye irritants, when performing daily cleaning tasks.
