29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled equipment was not used or installed in accordance with any instructions included in the listing or labeling: The employer does not ensure electrical equipment are used or installed in a manner in which they are intended: a) This violation was observed was on or about November 25, 2014 in multiple locations at the facility, household power taps were not approved for use in heavy manufacturing environments, exposing employees to the electrical hazards. b) This violation was observed was on or about November 25, 2014 in multiple locations at the facility, pendant boxes intended for permanent installation were used on the ends of flexible cords, exposing employees to electrical hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure electrical equipment is being used in accordance with their intended use.
