29 CFR 1910.219(e)(3)(i): Vertical or inclined belt(s) were not enclosed by guard(s) conforming to the requirements specified at 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o): a. On or about March 3, 2015, the belt drive for the number 1 ammonia condenser was not guarded to protect employees walking on the condenser cat walk, exposing employees to an amputation hazard at the ingoing nip point. b. On or about March 3, 2015, the belt drive for the ventilation fan in the processing area was not guarded to protect employees walking on the catwalk above the blast freezers, exposing employees to an amputation hazard at the ingoing nip point.
