29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each container of h azardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the appro priate hazard warnings: The employer does not insure that a metal can containing pump oil (eye and skin contact irritant hazard) is labeled to provide hazard wa rning information. The container labeled as P220 Oil is used for pump maintenanc e. This violation was observed on or about May 10, 2010, in the Platformer Units . Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation that it is in compliance with t he standard, including describing the steps it is taking to ensure employees are not exposed to this ey e and skin irritation hazard. One method of abatement among others is to place a label on the container that conveys the identity of the product and an appropri ate hazard warning.
