29 CFR 1910.333(a): Safety-related work practices were not employed to prevent electric shock or other injuries resulting from either direct or indirect electrical contacts, when work was performed near or on equipment or circuits which were or could be energized: a) 9000 River Road, Delair, NJ, 08110- Throughout the facility: The employer did not implement and require the use of electrical safe work practices when employees worked on energized electrical equipment. Practices not utilized included, but were not limited to, working on de-energized equipment, utilizing personal protective equipment as well as the use of barriers and insulated tools. Electrical sources ranged from 110 Volts through 4160 Volts, observed on or about 2/24/2017. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
