29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not using electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed:(a) a. HK Cooperative, Inc. dba J. H. Routh Packing Company located in Sandusky Ohio: On or about December 21, 2023, the employer did not ensure an employee who was troubleshooting a 480-volt, three phase electric motor for the ham injector line in the cured meats department was wearing electrical protective equipment for the face, head, torso, legs, and hands. The employee was exposed to electrical shock and arc blast when when troubleshooting with an electrical testing meter.
