29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(x): Flexible cords and cables were not protected from accidental damage: (a) An orange drop cord was run on the floor across an aisle where it was walked on and where equipment moved down the aisle could cut it; (b) A gray drop cord was run on the floor across an aisle where it was walked on and where equipment moved along the aisle could cut it. (c) A drop cord had been run up the side of the Brewco Saw operator's building where it was subject to being hit and damaged by a cant; (d) A flexible cord was run over the vent pipe for a wood stove and then across the floor to a work bench; (e) A drop cord was burried under sawdust that had been put down to absorb fuel that had been spilled; and (f) A drop cord was used to provide energy outdoors to the tractor that was attached to the trailer being loaded by the hog, and the cord ran across the ground from the saw mill in an area where fork trucks and heavy equipment operated.
