29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii):Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a. Linco - On or about December 14, 2021, the flexible cord that was plugged in for the fan had a pulled strain relief from the already replaced receptacle plug, exposing employees to an electrical hazard. b. Thigh Debone - On or about December 14, 2021, the flexible cord that was plugged in for the motor had a pulled strain relief from the already replaced receptacle plug, exposing employees to an electrical hazard. c. Maintenance shop - On or about December 14, 2021, the flexible cord for the World Energy Series chop saw had pulled strain relief at the plug and pulled strain relief going into the starter box, exposing employees to an electrical hazard. d. Turkey chiller - On or about February 17, 2022, the flexible cord going into the e-stop controller for the turkey chiller discharge conveyor had been pulled free and not provided strain relief, exposing employees to an electrical hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
