29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a) 9000 River Rd, Delair, NJ, 08110- Building 1, Maintenance Shop: The power cord to the Wales drill press which contained a Weg motor, serial number MAT 13231841 14DE215, was not provided with strain relief. The outer sheath of the cord had been pulled away from the plug, on or about 1/23/2017. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
