29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings shall be effectively closed. a. At the workplace, in the wire room, on the North side, there was an unused opening on the bottom of the 480 VAC electrical disconnect for the pointer, thereby exposing employees to an electrical hazard. b. At the workplace, in the wire room, on the West wall, there was an unused opening on the bottom of the 480 VAC electrical disconnect for the lifting magnet, thereby exposing employees to an electrical hazard.
