29 CFR 1910.307(c)(3): Equipment was not safe for the location in that it was not of a type and design that the employer demonstrated would provide protection from the hazards arising from the combustibility and flammability of vapors, liquids, gases, dusts, or fibers involved: (a) Sawmill - On or about October 2, 2019 throughout the facility, at locations where dust removal systems did not remove all dust, electrical equipment was not dust tight, such as but not limited to: Electrical control center at west end of mill had missing face plates, an open box cover, junction trough was missing its cover and a junction box next to stairway to edger for Mill #1 had its cover missing.
